How to Add a Basic Text Title

Open the Effects Panel

Navigate to the Edit page. In the top-left corner of the screen, make sure the Effects panel is open. If it's not visible, click the 'Effects' button.

Find the Titles Section

Inside the Effects panel, look for the Toolbox section. Expand it and then click on Titles to reveal a list of available text presets.

Drag Title to Timeline

Choose a title type (e.g., 'Text+' for more control or a basic 'Text'). Click and drag your chosen title from the Effects panel onto a video track in your timeline, placing it above your video clip.

Customize Your Text

Select the title clip in the timeline. Open the Inspector panel in the top-right corner. Here you can change the font, size, color, content, and other properties of your text.

Adjust Position and Duration

In the timeline, you can click and drag the title clip to change its position. To change how long it appears on screen, drag the edges of the clip to extend or shorten its duration.
