Open the File Menu

Navigate to the main menu bar at the top-left of the Unreal Engine editor and click on File.

Choose a Level Template

Select a starting template for your level. For a completely blank canvas, choose Empty Level. For a scene with basic lighting and a floor, select the Basic template.

Create and Save Your Level

Click the Create button. Your new, unsaved level will open in the editor. Immediately save it by going to File > Save Current Level As... or by pressing Ctrl + S. Name your level and save it in your project's `Content` folder.
